Something new is coming!!! Say hello to the future

We have been quiet because we have been busy making NosyX

And I’m happy to say we did it! 😆

When we started Nosy last fall, air pollution was the biggest threat to global health.

1 in 9 people die because of air pollution worldwide. This makes air pollution the cause of more deaths than war, malaria, aids and even covid-19 combined. Couple this with the fact that healthy people breathe over 90% of the time through their nose, Nosy in its original form was perfectly fit for purpose until March 2020.

As everyone in the world, when corona hit we lost our floor. All of the assumptions we made were no longer valid because the purpose of face masks now was to contain the spread of disease rather than protect a person from polluted air.

We went back to the drawing board to think: given our new reality, what is the best possible product that we can create that protects users from viruses and pollution which is both comfortable to wear and sustainable?

We came up with NosyX

NosyX leverages our original Nosy design, but we now coat our filters and mouth coverage in a silver and vesicle textile technology that repels and kills any viruses that come in contact with the fibres in the filter and cloth. It kills 99.999% of viruses and has been tested by the Doherty Institute in Australia (the first to recreate covid-19 in a lab).

The innovation in the design is that it prevents any cross contamination from users touching their face masks as our mouth coverage acts like a disinfectant. While Nosy is much easier to breathe with than a full face mask because:

  1. Our filters don’t restrict breathing and
  2. The nose and mouth separation allows users to constantly have a supply of fresh air.

To help us with the manufacturing of this revolutionary device we are proud to say that we are partnering with CHC Product Development, a leading medical device manufacturer with headquarters in the Netherlands and factories in Shanghai; and HeIQ, the textile lab behind fabric innovation of household names like Adidas and Speedo.
